The short version

Mutuals Only runs inside your own browser. Your Instagram lists, the accounts you swipe on, and your activity stay on your computer. We never ask for, see, or store your Instagram password, and we don't run servers that access your Instagram account.

What the extension handles

Uninstalling the extension deletes all of this.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. They receive your email and payment details to process and manage your subscription; we receive your email and subscription status. We don't see or store card numbers.

Anonymous usage stats

The website measures the same kind of thing: which page was viewed, roughly how long you stayed (in broad bands like "15-45s"), how far you scrolled, which buttons you pressed, and any feedback option you tap. Each event carries a random ID created in your browser — not your name, not your email, not anything about your Instagram. You can switch it off below, which also deletes that ID.

In the extension

To find bugs and see where people get stuck, the extension can send a small anonymous event when something happens — for example "a scan finished" or "an unfollow failed". Each event contains a random ID generated on your device, the event name, the extension version, a rough size range (like "1k-2.5k"), and an error reason when something broke.

It never includes your username, the accounts you saw, the accounts you swiped, or anything else from your Instagram account. We don't log IP addresses with these events, and the random ID isn't connected to your identity or your payment. You can switch this off at the bottom of the extension — doing so also deletes the random ID from your browser.
